Mr. John Daniel "Danny" Ellis--age 40, a native and resident of Bay Minette, AL died Thursday, April 22, 2004 at his residence. He was a teacher for the Baldwin County Board of Education. He is survived by his parents, John H. and Annie Jean Ellis, Bay Minette, AL.; one brother, Larry Ellis, Mobile, AL; one niece, Cora Ellis, Mobile, AL; one nephew, John Howard Ellis, Mobile, AL. He is preceeded in death by a sister, Kathy Ellis. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 25, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. at the First Baptist church with Dr. Henry Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 25, 2004 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church. Although the family will accept flowers they suggest memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 26148 Captital Drive, Suite F, Daphne, Alabama 36526 or to the American Heart Association, 808 Downtowner Boulevard, Mobile, Alabama, 36609.
