Mary Mildred Shacklett, 88, formerly of Louisville, passed away February 5, 2002, in Overland Park, Kansas. She was a deaconess for the Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas K. Shacklett and Mayme Jennette (Howell) Shacklett; and a brother, Edward Howell Shacklett (Gladys). Survivors: two nieces, Dixie Hatfield and Barbara Boyle (Dudley); 2 great-nieces; and two great-great-nieces. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road, with burial at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation: 2-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
