Devoted mother of Mrs. Sallie (Hillary) Vermillion, Mrs. Catherine (Lewis) Spayd, Henry (Emma) Gardner, Walter (Lula) Gardner, and Richard (Mary) Gardner. Survived also by 3 brothers, William, Thomas, and Robert Nalley; sister, Mrs. Mary Jo Mattingly, and Fannie Nalley, the latter of Decatur, IL.; 28 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Remains at the McDaniel Funeral Home, 4339 Park Blvd. Funeral from McDaniel's, Saturday, April 19, at 1:30 p.m., and from the South Side Church of the Nazarene, 5th and Evelyn Ave., at 2 o'clock. Interment, Evergreen Cemetery.
