Mrs. Burkhardt Aged 32, Dies
After an illness of two years, Mrs. George Burkhardt aged 32, passed away Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Conrad. The couple had resided in this city since their marriage.
The deceased, nee Ella Conrad, was born February 17, 1899, in the town of Russell. In 1923 she was united in marriage to
George Burkhardt.
Besides her husband, she is survived by the following children: Lila, Mary Ann, Clarence, Reuben, and Willard; two brothers, Raymond and Benjamin and one sister, Clara, also survive.
Funeral services will be held this Friday, at 1:30 from the
home, and at 2 o'clock from the St. Peter Reformed church, with the Rev. E. L. Worthman performing the last rites. Burial will be in the Kiel cemetery. (No newspaper named, October, 1931)
