Lloyd E. Abbott, 74, 310 West 25th, died unexpectedly Monday at his home. Born April 27, 1897 at Sylvia, he married Zelda Hilton, Jan. 16, 1918, at Hugoton. They lived in Hutchinson for 33 years. He was a retired carpenter and a World War I Veteran.
He was a member of the First Assembly of God.
Survivors include the widow, of the home: sons: Allan, San Bernardino, Calif., Fred, of the home: daughters: Mrs. Darlene Oldenettel, Pratt; Mrs. Winifred Mercer, Bakersfield, Calif.; Mrs. Virginia Rein, Beloit; brothers: Carl Sterling; Bill, Oklahoma City; sisters: Mrs. Chole Kreie, Sylvia; Mrs. Mable Broker, California; Mrs. Viola Claypool, Stafford; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
