Lois Gilliam McCoy Thompson, age 91 of Sidney, Ky, passed away, Sunday, March 29, 2009 at the Pikeville Medical Center.
She retired from G.C. Murphys and Mullins Cafe.
She was born in Pike County, Kentucky on October 22, 1917 the daughter of the Late Lewis and Nora Gilliam.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Alex McCoy and her second husband Millard Thompson, one son, Louis R. Spears, four sisters, Edith Ratliff, Earlene Tibbs, Verdie Christian, and Hettie Johnston. Five brothers Keith, Walter, Lowell, Darrell Gilliam, and Corbit Clark.
She is survived by two daughters, Daryl Myers and her husband Melvin of Clayton, NC and Carol Cassell and her husband Ed, of Sidney, Kentucky.
Four Grandchildren and eight Great-grandchildren.
