Theresa was 80 when she passed away at her home. Born to John & Mary (Gallagher) Hansen in New York City, NY.
She married Harold Letcher on July 3, 1948 in New York City. Theresa and Harold moved to Hazel Green and lived there for 25 years. She worked at Target for nine years and was a member of the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.
Theresa also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, sewing, embroidering baby quilts, crafts, playing cards and working on puzzles and crosswords. Her favorite TV shows were Dancing with the Stars, American Idol and The Amazing Race. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Theresa leaves behind three daughters, two sons-in-law, 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold; three sisters, Alice Parent, Dorothy Melville and Mary McGuffe; and three brothers: John, George and Eddie. Services were held at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Hazel Green, with burial in church cemetery.
