She was born in Rupert to Thomas Blacker and Hettie Mae Wilkes Blacker. She married Carl Beazer Garner on Dec. 4, 1940, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Karlene McBride, Terry (Cathryn) Garner, Dennis (Amelia) Garner, Doyle (Karen) Garner and Shanna (David) Hollan; 32 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by an infant son, Lonnie Ray; one great-grandson, Austin Terry Garner,Who is buried at the foot of his grandfather's grave, and her parents and siblings.
