John W. Cassady, 43O Walton avenue, Altoona, died at his home Friday evening, May 28 1943, at 8:40 o'clock. He was former manager of the W. E Hoffman company plant at Bedford. He was born at Mount Union September 29, 1887 the son of David. F. and Josephine Barben Cassady, and was married February 17, 1909 to Florence B Springer.Surviving are the widow, two daughters, Mrs. Vera M. Hopkins of Hollidaysburg, and Mrs. Mildred L. Milbum, at home; a sister, Mrs. R. A. Brumbaugh, and two brothers,. M. H and J. A. Cassady, all of Altoona, and one grandchild. Mr. Cassady attended the
Fourth Lutheran church of Altoona.Funeral services were held this Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Axe Funeral Home in Altoona in charge of the Rev. Paul L. Reaset assisted by the Rev.
Cloyd Fields of Harrisburg. Interment in Rose Hill cemetery,Altoona.
