ANNA C. ACKERMAN
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 7, 1998, in St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Roy for Anna C. Ackerman, who died Aug. 1 at age 81. A vigil prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, in Forest Grove Memorial Chapel.
Mrs. Ackerman was born April 20, 1917, in Roy, where she lived all her life. Her maiden name was Bernards. She married Leo J. in 1943, and they were farmers. After his death in 1958, she continued to work the farm and also on the line for seven years at Flavorland Cannery and then 14 years at the Oregon Prune Exchange, retiring in 1982. She was a member of the church.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth of Forest Grove; daughter, Darlene Dersham of Roy; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
