Mittie Leona Harris
CANTON-Services for Mittie Leona Harris, 102, Canton, are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Eubank Funeral Home Chapel, Canton, with the Rev. Charles Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Holly Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Harris died Dec. 24 at her residence.
She was born Oct. 12, 1897,in Martins Mill to the late E.S. and Margaret Eaton Nixon. She was member of First Baptist Church, Canton, and lived in Canton for 19 years and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by husbands, Grady Mann in 1940 and Elbert Harris.
Survivors include daughters, Helen Nelson and Doris Mixer, both of Canton, and Margie Collins, Carrollton; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
