William G. Hickoff, 49 year old resident of 365 East Fifth Street in Emporium, PA, passed away early Monday morning (Aug. 16, 1971) at the Andrew Kaul Memorial Hospital in St. Marys, PA, where he had been admitted late Sunday evening. Mr. Hickoff was born in Emporium, PA, February 13, 1922, and was the son of the late Edgar H. and Edna Mae Schaeffer [Shaffer] Hickoff. He lived throughout his lifetime in Emporium. Following graduation from Emporium High School, served with the US Navy during World War II. At the time of his death he was employed at the Sylvania Electric Products in Emporium and had worked for that company for a period of 32 years, and was a plant superintendent. Mr. Hickoff was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Emporium, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, and the Sylvania Quarter Century Club. He is survived by his wife, the former Audrey Eden, with whom he was united in marriage in Buffalo, NY, Sept. 7, 1952; by five children, Mrs. Margaret Rotello of Austin, PA, Scott, Beth, Gail, and Shelly, all living at home.
