SHIPLEY BOY KILLED
According to the Kansas City Star, Pfc. Wallace H. Shipley, 22 years old, died May 31 of wounds received in action on the Anzio beachhead in Italy. His mother is Mrs. Isabel Shipley of 3213 Independence Ave., Kansas City, Mo. He is also survived by his wife of the same address and a brother, Dean. Another brother, Pvt. Leonard Gale Shipley, is serving in the air corps. The family formerly lived in Frankfort when Mrs. Shipley's brother, Elmer Morgan was music instructor of the schools here.
