GOSHEN - Mariana McCue Hussey, 86, of Goshen, Indiana, died Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Goshen General Hospital. She was born to Dr. Francis J. and Eloise (Perkins) McCue, in Ann Arbor, MI, on May 7, 1922. Mrs. Hussey graduated from St. Joseph's Academy in Adrian, MI, and Marygrove College in Detroit, MI. She worked for the civilian war board during World War II, and was an elementary school teacher. She married Edward James Hussey on December 1, 1945, in Hudson, MI. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Goshen, IN. Mrs. Hussey enjoyed her many grandchildren and loved animals of all kinds, especially dogs. Mariana is survived by her husband, Edward, and their nine children, Edward Joseph (Sue) Hussey, Valparaiso, Nancy (Thomas) Parrish, Elkhart, Mary (James) Noone of Rydal PA, Kathleen Amato, Evanston, IL, Maureen Key, Lake Forest IL, Michael (Elna) Hussey of Goshen, Daniel (Kathy) Hussey, Burr Ridge, IL, John (Terry) Hussey, Goshen; Mariana (Kevin) O'Rear, Granger; 40 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Dr. Francis "Bud" McCue, and a son-in-law, Robert Key. Friends may call from 4 to 7 pm. Thursday, May 7, at the Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. A Rosary Service will follow at 7 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 8, 2009 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Goshen. The Rev. Father Christopher Smith and Rev. Father John Delaney will officiate. Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery Goshen. Pallbearers will be her four sons, Edward, Michael, Daniel, and John Hussey and thee son-in-laws, Thomas Parrish, James Noone and Kevin O'Rear.
