Jack was my older brother. He was born and raised in Illinois. Our mother named him after her twin brother and after her father. Jack was my mother's oldest son from her first marriage. He was married in 1975 to Miss Shelia Sampson. Their marriage ended with no children. Jack served in the USMC during the Vietnam War. He worked for Caterpillar in the Laboratory department. He became ill in 1988 and was diagnosed with colon cancer. He passed away in 1989 and had full military honors at his funeral. His family misses him very much. He was always my favorite brother.
