Maiden, N.C. - Hazel Beatrice Cline Beal, 91, of Maiden, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2009, at Cardinal Health Care.
Born April 3, 1918, in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Mammie Hobbs Cline.
Mrs. Beal was a member of Lawings Chapel Baptist Church in Maiden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, James Ronald Beal, and two brothers, Lester and Lawrence Cline.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Fred Marshall Beal; two sons, Rodney Beal and wife, Dianne, and Arnold Beal, all of Maiden; a sister, Hallene Black and husband, Worth, of Maiden; two grandsons, Christopher Beal and Justin Beal; three granddaughters, Rhonda Woody, Jennifer Beal and Paige Beal; two great-grandsons, Tanner Woody and Eli Woody; two great-granddaughters, Morgan Woody and Rachael Woody; and a sister-in-law, Margaret Keever of Maiden.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
