Bio: Myrtle Casey Beadle was raised in and around Florence, Texas. She was a natural teacher and that was her life calling. She taught in county schools that were often one- room schools that covered all grades. In the late 1940's, the State passed a law that all teachers be certified. Myrtle and teachers like her had to go to college and take an accelerated program to receive their teaching certificate, although they had been teaching for years. She was a nice looking lady with beautiful red hair. She was married to Joe Beadle and they owned a ranch on the Lampasas River. The Dam of Stillhouse Hollow Lake, Belton, Texas, covers their ranch. They had no children.
