Mrs. Compton L. Hyde of Earlville, mother of Mrs. Howard Larabee, passed away at the DeKalb Hospital Friday, June 14, 1968. Mrs. Hyde was born April 2, 1876.
She leaves three children, Mrs. Larabee, Chester Hyde of Mendota and Clifford of Eau Claire, WI, 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Services were held in Mendota Monday, June 17 at 1:30 at Merritt Funeral Home in Mendota. Burial was in Precinct cemetery, Earlville.

Mrs. Compton (Frances) Hyde, 92, died June 14 in the DeKalb Hospital where she had been a patient for one week. Previously she had lived in a nursing home in DeKalb.
Funeral services were held Monday in Mendota in the Merritt Funeral Home. Burial was in Precinct Cemetery, Earlville.
Mrs. Hyde was born April 2, 1876 in Earlville to Fred and Ida B. Foote. On March 9, 1900 she married Compton Hyde who preceded her in death March 17, 1961.
She is survived by two sons, Chester of Mendota and Clifford of Auburn, Wis.; one daughter, Mrs. Howard (Alene) Larabee of Hinckley; eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
