Julia Ava Reynolds, 88, died Monday, January 15, 2001 at Harrison. She was born at Parthenon on April 23, 1912, a daughter of John Willis and Mary Breedlove Martin. She was a resident of Jasper, a homemaker, and a member of Jasper First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Searle A. Reynolds, one son Coy Reynolds, two sisters, three brothers and a great-granddaughter. She is survived by two sons, Thomas Reynolds of Wichita, Kansas and Eddie Reynolds of Jasper, Arkansas, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Services were Wednesday, January 17 at Jasper First Baptist Church with Rev. Mauel Macks officiating. Burial was in Jasper Cemetery under the direction of Christeson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Trent Buckley, John Reynolds, Randy Jones, Kevin Reynolds, Aaron Jenks and Mike Junks. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Mahlon Maris, Buster Waters, Buddy Davis, Opal and Gilbert Jenks, Jerry and Nancy Brasel.
