Funeral services for Ralph C. Ashmore, 55, of Aiken, S. C., were held last Friday in his home city. He was a native of Featherston, OK. Ashmore died Jan. 8. Services were held in the South Aiken Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Aiken Cemetery. Ashmore was supervisor at the Savannah River plant near Aiken. He was a vetern of World War II. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Yvette Looney Ashmore; his mother, Mrs. Grace Ashmore of McAlester, OK; two daughters, Mrs. Claire A. Couch of Moore and Mrs Margaret A. Plunkett of Sardis, GA; a son, William Forrest Ashmore of Stone Mountain, GA, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Lou Bradley of Beaver, OK.
