Dr Adam K Adcock, 77, retired minister of the Christian Church, died suddenly yesterday afternoon at his home on Route 2, Strawberry Plains. After serving as pastor of many churches in Ohio and Illinois and later doing evangelistic work, Dr Adcock retired 10 years ago. Survivors include his widow: Mrs Margaret Adcock; sons: Paul K and Charles P, both of Youngstown, Ohio; daughters: Mrs Lois Beckett, of Athens, Ga; stepsons: Hubert and Sam Newman; 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters: Mrs Frances Cox, Mrs Hattie Slater, Mrs Jesse Shackelford; brothers: Tom T, Sam Y and W L Adcock of Detroit, Mich.
