Jeff had a career in the US Army. After he and Odette were married he was stationed at Camp Leroy Johnson in New Orleans, LA and later stationed at Fort Hood, TX. He served overseas in WWII and retired a Master Sergeant in 1961. He and his family then moved to Metairie, LA where most of Odette's family lived. They built a house in Metairie in 1962 and he lived there until his death in 1991. He worked until after age 80 as a salesman. Jeff was a very religious man and he was a member of the Oneness Pentecostal Church. Jeff loved the Lord.
