Services for Yantie Casey Kellum, 88, of Texico were held on Nov. 10, at Steed-Todd Chapel. The Rev. Paul Wilkinson, officiated.
Burial followed at Texico Cemetery. Steed-Todd handled the arrangements.
Mrs. Kellum died on Nov. 7 at Clovis High Plains Hospital. She was born on Jan 5, 1900 in Wayne County, W. Va. She was a housewife and a member of the Farwell Church of Christ. She married G. W. Kellum in Oct. 1916, in Childress, Texas.
Survivors include 4 daughters, Orine McDaniels, Paulsboro, Wash.; Marian King, Dallas; Clara Harvey, Texico, and Casey Pruitt, Tucumcari; two sons, Frank Casey, Texico, and Tom Casey, Houston; two step-daughters, Oleta Tompkins, Denver, and Betty Ruth Sayre, Fayetteville, Ark.; one step-son, Fred Kellum, Hobbs; four sisters, Martha Wilkerson, Roswell, Lula Reed, Alamogordo, Garnet Reeves, El Paso, Texas, and Margaret Whitely, Ruidoso; three brothers, M. A. Elkins, El Paso, Bob Elkins, San Diego, Calif., and Lonnie Elkins, Childress; 20 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Juanita Autrey; and a brother, Virgil Elkins.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Fund or the Christian Home in Portales.
