SIDNEY KIDDER, deceased, was born in Genesee County NY about the year 1810 removed to Romeo in 1836 began life as a country merchant in the village of Romeo a few years later went in company with Mr Oel Rix and formed a partnership for the prosecution of the same business from there went to Berlin. St Clair County on a farm then back to Bruce for six years on a farm/ He was living in St Clair Count at the time of his death which occurred with his own hands in 1857. married Lorette daughter of Luke Fisher they had three children all living Mrs Kidder died in February 1868.
