Bernard M. L. "Shorty" Brownfield, 68, Lake Village, died Sturday. December 26, 1992, at St. Anthony Medical Center after a long illness.
He is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Don McLean, Linda and Wayne Telford, Joyce and Chester Kwiatkowski, Judy and Herbert Dresbaugh Jr, all of Lake Village, Indiana; Three sons and daughters- in-law, James and Sue brownfield of Morocco, Daniel Brownfield and Kenneth and Patty Brownfield at home; 19 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Eva and Norris Gero of Momence; as number of sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred; parents, James and Betty Brownfield; three brothers and one sister.
He was a retired farmer working in the Lake Village and Morocco area and a life-time resident of Lake Village.
Funeral services will be held at the Sheets Funeral Home in Lowell at 11 a. m. Tuesday, December 29, 1992 with the Pastor Richard Marcy officiating.
Burial will be in the Lake Village Cemetery.
