Donald H. Prill
Donald H. PRILL, 60, former resident of Rochester, died Wednesday a 7:30 p.m. at Veterans hospital in Fort Wayne of carcinoma. A resident of Seattle, Wash., until his fatal illness, Mr. Prill had been in ill health since December.
Born in Rochester Aug. 22, 1907, he was the son of Ray and Nellie McHENRY PRILL and was married Dec. 25, 1957, at Hollywood, Cal., to Minnie K. HOLT, who survives.
Mr. Prill had retired after 27 years in the U.S. Navy. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean war and was a member of the American Legion and VFW.
Also surviving are one broher, Gerald [PRILL], Los Angeles, and three sisters, Mrs. William (Devoris) RICHARDSON, Plymouth; Mrs. William (Zola) COLLINS, Elkhart, and Mrs. Verl (Elizabeth) LINDZY, Syracuse. Preceding in death were two sisters, Mildred and Mary [PRILL], and one brother, Claude [PRILL].
Last rites will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home with the Rev. Donald LAMBERT officiating, assisted by he American Legion and VFW posts. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
