After several years of cardiac problems, Roy V. Head, 87, died Wed., Sept. 15, 1993 at Beach Health Care Center of the Sheboygan Retirement Home.
He was born Feb. 4, 1906 in Sheboygan, a son of Fred and Elisabeth [(McTaggart)] Head. After graduating from Sheboygan High School in 1924, he was employed by Jerry Donohue Engineering Co. for 20 years, and then in the engineering department of Kohler Co. for 30 years, retiring in 1973.
Roy was a member of Holy Name Parish, the Kohler Quarter Century Club, and was a tour guide at the plant after his retirement.
On June 15, 1935, he married Madeline Gartman, Sheboygan, who survives him with a daughter and son-in-law, Madison; sons and daughters-in law, Tom Head, West Allis WI; three grandchildren; and a brother, Ralph Head, Sheboygan. He was preceded in death by a sister [Alice].
We will remember Roy for the love he so generously gave his family and friends. Always a creative and meticulous craftsman, he greatly enjoyed making projects for his home and family.
Rev. Dan Sanders, of Holy Name Parish, will conduct a private funeral service for the family at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels on Friday.
