John Otis Rader, Jr. was born October 19, 1966, in Madison County and departed this life Saturday, October 4, 2008, being 41 years of age. He was the son of Anita (Creech) Rader of McKee and of the late John Otis Rader, Sr.

In addition to his mother, John is also survived by a sister- Lisa Renea Rader of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., and by a brother- Tim Rader of McKee. John was blessed with a nephew- Alex John Brock and by three nieces- Anjellica Rader Isaacs, Heather Renea Sizemore and Katherine Rader and by two great-nieces- Mackenzie & Savannah Isaacs.

Other than his father, John was also preceded in death by two brothers- Keith Rader and Arnold Rader.

John was a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church.

Funeral service was held 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 8, 2008, at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Hays officiating. Burial followed in the Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Raymond (Bubby) Sparks, Charlie Conover, Doug Maupin, David Cox, Frankie Morris, Doug Sparks & Eugene Neeley. Honorary pallbearers were Donnie Madden, Lynn Johnson & Raymond McKinney.
