MINSHEW
Jarvis D. Minshew, 86, of Waxahachie, died today in Italy Convelescent Center. He was born Dec. 24, 1898, in Wood County, Texas. He was a retired painter.
His wife, Mae Minshew, preceded him in death in 1965.
Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Orr of Waxahachie; a son, Billy J. Minshew of Temple; 2 sisters, Sally Faraquhe of Itasca and Jessie Balcom of Fort Worth; a step-brother, P. M. Wheatly of Waxahachie; 2 half-brothers, Raymond Wheatly of Waxahachie and Tom Wheatly of Union City, Tenn.; and 4 half-sisters.
Services will 11 a.m. Friday in Hillcrest Burial Park with Walter Buchanan officiating.
Services will be under direction of Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home.
