Dicky graduated from New Waverly High School. He also served in the United States Army. Dicky retired from Haynes International and Cuneo Press. He enjoyed collecting coins, guns, belt buckles, hats, and tractors.
He survived by son, Kyle Jeffrey (Lisa) Bowen; four daughters, Becky Bowen, Vergie Ruenell Bowen, Missy Gibson, and Leslie (Walter) Ridge; twenty one grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; three brothers, Douglas (Mary) Anderson, David Anderson, Tom (Rosemary) Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 23 years, Mary; brother, Donald Anderson; sister, Janet Waltenberger; and his canine, Prince.
Visitation Nov. 12, 2019 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. The funeral service will be Wednesday, Nov. 13 officiated by Pastor Jeff Sexton, also at the mortuary. Burial will follow at Miami
