William Harold Ackard, 46, of 128 Rebecca St., Kittanning, died at 9:03 a.m. Tuesday (March 20, 1962) at his home. He was born Jan. 26, 1916, In Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son of Ralph Edward and Nellie (Lemmon) Ackard. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Carl (Nellie) Wilcox Sr. of Rebecca St., Kittanning; a brother, R. K. Ackard of Modesto, Calif. Mr. Ackard lived in Kittanning the past five years. He was a member of the Men's Bible Class of the First Baptist Church of Kittanning. Friends will be received after 7 tonight at Bauer funeral home. Family visitation hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Rev. Laurence T Beers, pastor of First Baptist Church in Kittanning, officiating Interment will be made Kittanning cemetery.
