Bill was born on February 4, 1940 in Harrisburg, IL. He worked as Iron Worker for Iron Workers Local 392 for over 20 years, and was a member of American Legion. Bill loved country music, and was a water enthusiast at Carlyle Lake.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helga M. Kinser, nee Banaszak; and parents, Bernard & Sibyl Kinser, nee Sloan.

Bill is survived by his son, William J. Kinser II; brother, James Kinser & Connie Miller; grandchildren, William J. Kinser III and Samantha Lee; great-grandchildren, Blakley Kinser, Isaiah Lee, and Emberlyn Lee; niece, Susan Pyles; nephew, Timothy Kinser; and his dearest friend and companion Carol Kiefer and her daughter, Kay & Wallen Good, nee Kiefer.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014 from 1:00pm-2:00pm at Schildknecht Funeral Home, 301 S. Lincoln Ave. O'Fallon, IL 62269.

Funeral Service will be on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 2:00pm at Schildknecht Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Cariker officiating.

Interment will follow at St. John’s Evangelical Black Jack Cemetery, Troy, IL.
