She was born Dec. 31, 1952, in Temple. She married Jimmy L. Hawkins on July 10, 1995, in Lamesa. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Glenda, Lisa and Cookie, all of Lamesa; three sons, Curtis, Timothy and Oueny, all of Lamesa; her mother Helen Maxwell Anderson; her father, Troy Lee Maxwell; 13 brothers, Earnest of Midland, Troy of California, Danny Anderson of Houston, Curtis Anderson of San Angelo, Michael of Hawaii, Stanley of Temple, Billie Hemphill and Freddy Hemphill, both of Dallas and Willis, Robert, Bobby, David and Tony, all of Lamesa; five sisters, Phyllis Moore of San Antonio, Christine Maxwell of Lamesa, Valeria Anderson of Temple, Ruth Richardson of Monahans and Ruby Hemphill of Seminole.
