Roy E. Altom of San Bernardino died on October 9, 1981. He was a painter, a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church and a life member of Orange Belt Painters Local 775, District 48. In 1980, Mr. Altom and his wife celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. He was survived by his wife, Mable, two daughters, Betty Shelton and Freda Davis, both of Riverside, a son, Thomas of El Cajon, two brothers, Clyde Lawson of Bellflower and T. J. Lawson of Singapore, China, 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Mark B. Shaw Memorial Chapel with interment at Montecito Memorial Park.
