Mrs. Minnie B. Acord

Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie B. Acord, age 93, were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday December 1, 1983, in Robertson Chapel of Memories, with Rev. Bill Watson, Minister of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Interment was in Citizens Cemetery with the arrangements under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Acord died Sunday, November 27, 1983 at 5:10 p.m. in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born on January 30, 1890, at Dawson, Texas and was married to the late J. Monroe Acord. He died in 1952. Mr. and Mrs. Acord were owners and operators of a Dairy in Donley County before moving from Donley County in the 1940's. Mrs. Acord has lived in Colorado Springs since 1950 and was a Methodist, a member of the D.A.R., and a 70 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include two sons, Thayer E. Acord of San Antonio, Texas, Randall K. Acord of Fairbanks, Alaska; two sisters, Mrs. E.C. Brodie of Denton, Miss. Maurice Berry of Colorado Springs, Colorado; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
