Laurie A. Murray HANSON Laurie Anne (Mehrman) Murray, age 61, formerly of Weymouth, entered into eternal life on Monday, May 4, 2009 after a long illness. Laurie was born in Quincy, was raised in Weymouth and has lived in Hanson for over 30 years. She attended Weymouth schools and graduated from the Shepard Gill Nursing School at Mass General Hospital in Boston. Laurie was a nurse at Samuel Marcus Nursing Home in Weymouth. Prior to that, She worked at other nursing homes and hospitals on the south shore. Beloved daughter of Ruth C. (Sturrock) Mehrman of Weymouth and the late Frederick F. Mehrman. Devoted mother of Frederick Murray of Hanson, Kathleen Carpenter of Hanover, Julie Thompson of Abingdon, Maryland, Maura Murray of Hanson and Kurtis Murray of Hanson. Beloved sister of Janis R. Panttila of Weymouth and the late Frederick F. Mehrman Jr. A private Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, May 6 at the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, Weymouth.
