Mrs. Emma Ruth, Lansdale, Succumbs Suddenly After Long Illness
Mrs. Emma Ruth, Widow of Abram Ruth, was found dead in her bed at Lansdale, this morning. Mrs. Ruth lived with a son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. George Cannon, at 608 Derstine avenue.
Mrs. Ruth had been in poor health for a number of years, but was able to be about the house and take care of her own needs. Death came suddenly, while she was sleeping.
Mrs. Cannon is the only daughter. There are no other near relatives surviving. Funeral arrangements have not yet been completed. Mrs. Ruth had been a resident of Lansdale for the greater part of her life.
