Alice M. Darling 96 of Fairbury, passed away March 30, 2009, at Blue Valley Lutheran Nursing Home in Hebron. She was born July 29, 1912 at Fairbury.
Survivors are daughters, Beverly (Joe) Hergott of Hebron; Suzanne (Harold Jr.) Logan of Fairbury; 13 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; brother, C. C. (Dick) Stauss of Fairbury.
She is preceded by parents, Alfred and Emma (Sievert) Stauss; husband, Clair; son, Jack; brother, Raymond; sisters, Gladys and Dorothy; grandson, Douglas Hergott.
Family will greet friends from 7 to 9 p. m. Thursday, April 2, at the Funeral Home.
Services will be at 10:30 a. m., Friday, April 3, at the Gerdes-Meyer Chapel in Fairbury, with Pastor Leonard Leslie officiating.
Burial will be at the Fairbury Cemetery, Fairbury.
