Fern L. Daugherty, 77, of Green Avenue Tower, Altoona, died Weds., May 6, 2009 at Altoona Hospital. Daughter of George A. & Mildred (Sullivan) Ross. Predeceased by three husbands: Richard Tyack, Irvin Daugherty, Sr. and Thomas Buckreis. Survived by children: Mary Patricia Caruso & daughter, Joy; Lucinda D. Lamca & son, Michael; Connie Daugherty & fiance, Michael; William R. Tyack & children: William, Jr. and Robyn; Robert (Judy) Tyack & children: Renee, BobbyJo and Shawn; David Daugherty (Leticia) and Joshua; Christopher (Colleen) Buckreis and children: Cherokee and Samuel; numerous gr. grandchildren; gr. gr. grandchildren; sisters: JoAn Steward and Mary Metzger; and brother, Paul Randy Ross. Predeceased by brother, Sam, and other siblings. Mrs. Daugherty was of Methodist faith and a waitress at Venetian Gardens and the Frohsinn Singing Society. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards.
