The former Alma A. Grunewald was born February 9, 1900 at Wausau, a daughter of the late Frank and Johanna Kroening Grunewald.
She graduated from Wausau High School and the former Stevens Point Normal School.
On October 20, 1927 she was married to Mr. Duecker at Wausau. The couple lived in Kiel most of their married lives.She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Kiel, and its Women's Guild, the Kiel Frauen Verein, GUG Germania Society and the Kiel Study Club.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Daniel, Milwaukee, three grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. A. C. Engel, New Holstein.
