LYDIA LOUISE CASHMAN'S PARENTS WERE JOSEPH DAVID CASHMAN AND ELLEN MELISSA DUNN OF BRECKINRIDGE CO KY. LYDIA WAS THE 2ND WIFE OF WILLIAM H HAWKINS, AND THEY HAD 7 CHILDREN.

OWENSBORO MESSENGER OBITUARY - 06/25/1935 -- OBIT PROVIDED BY PHIL BURCH --
Mrs. Lydia Hawkins, 82 years old, widow of the late W. H. Hawkins, died at her home, 1016 Parrish Avenue, at 5 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Hawkins was born at Union Star, Breckinridge County, June 22, 1853, coming to Owensboro in 1905. Surviving are three daughters and four sons. They are: Misses Helen and Emma Hawkins and Mrs. T. T. Doriot, Ralph Hawkins, Cashman Hawkins and Hubert Hawkins, all of Owensboro and Roy Hawkins, of Evansville. Eight grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Hawkins was a sister of the late Rev. W. F. Cashman, and was well known throughout this section. Funeral services will be conducted from the Third Street Methodist Church at 3 o'clock this afternoon, the pastor, the Rev. I. W. Napier, in charge. Mrs. Hawkins had been a member of this church since coming to Owensboro. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Logan Meredith, T. L. Duke, J. H. Heal, Henry Cline, R. N. Lancaster and Orville Sahlie.
