Funeral services for Mrs. Norman Burau, 50, of Buffalo, were held Thursday morning, Dec. 18, from St. Mary of Sorrows Church, that city. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Pine Hill. Mrs. Catherine Almeter Burau died unexpectedly Monday, Dec. 15, 1952, in her home. She had been in ill health for several years. Mrs. Burau, a daughter of John and Barbara Almeter, was born June 24, 1902, in the Town of Sheldon. She had lived in BUffalo for about 35 years. Besides her husband, Mrs. Burau is survived by her mother, Mrs. Barbara Almeter, Sheldon; four sisters, Mrs. Martha Galvin, Buffalo; Mrs. Cecila Keem, Town of Wales; Mrs. Rose Donnelly, Niagara Falls; Mrs. Medelin Lawton, Cheeklowaga; and four brothers, Carl Almeter, Buffalo; Henry Almeter, Twon of Wales; John Almeter, Freedom, and Francis Almeter, Sheldon.
