Investment banker. Horace was the son of Charles Mather Ffoulke. After graduating in 1898 from Harvard College, he joined his father in the Washington, D.C., investment banking firm of Bloomer, Ffoulke & Co. Horace was a member of the New York Stock Exchange. An avid horseman and golfer, he was also a member of the Metropolitan and Chevy Chase Clubs. In 1902, he traveled west to the Southwest hoping to alleviate his symptoms of tuberculosis, however he died of the disease a year later with his mother at his bedside.
