Budded on Earth to bloom in Heaven. Blake was only here for about 30 minutes. Survived by parents Steven and Randee Strahle, twin sister Sydney and brother Jared (born in 2000.) Loved and missed every day.

After many complications and six weeks of bedrest, I had pre-term labor at 24 weeks. I spent two weeks in St. Marys Hospital. The doctors and nurses did everything they could to delay delivery. I became very ill and had to deliver after 12 days of hospital bedrest. Our twins weighed 1 pound, 9 ounces each. Blake's little lungs just werent developed enough and God called him home. Part of me went with him.

Blake's twin sister Sydney came home with us after spending 2 1/2 months in Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. Prayers to all the other parents that have seen their baby hooked up to wires, machines and IV's fighting to survive. She may have been small, but she is the strongest person Ive ever known. She is my hero! I am eternally grateful to the doctors and nurses. They are angels.

Blake is also survived by other special family members:

Robert and Patricia Kacin of Dry Fork, WV (grandparents)
Jim and Sherry McBride of St. Charles, MO (grandparents)
Rose Strahle of Decatur, IL (grandma)
Loving aunts, uncles and cousins in MO, IL, FL

I offer my heartfelt thank you for stopping by.
