Lorraine M. Anderson passed away Thursday, May 7, 2009, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Rice Lake.
Lorraine was born Feb. 12, 1913, to Theodore and Lillian (Stillman) Bataglia in Eau Claire. She graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1931. She married Kenneth Wilson on June 14, 1934. He passed away in 1964. She worked as a sales associate at Putnam's Ladies Apparel in Eau Claire until her retirement. She married Signor Anderson on Sept. 4, 1968. She worked as a volunteer for Lutheran Social Services and taught English as a second language. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Eau Claire and Trinity Lutheran Church in Spooner. She enjoyed needlework, leaving with her family many beautiful, handcrafted items.
She loved and was loved by her surviving family, which includes her daughter, Maxine (Richard) Indrebo of Sarona; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by her parents; husbands, Kenneth Wilson and Signor Anderson; one brother, Ralph Bataglia, and one sister, Dorothy Bataglia.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spooner. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. at St. John's Cemetery in Eau Claire.
Visitation will be one hour before services at the church.
Arrangements are being handled by Dahl Funeral Home in Spooner, 715-635-2918.
