Kristen was a senior at Catholic High School in New Iberia and a member of the Catholic High Peer Counseling Group, She was a 12 year student at Gail Freese School of Dance and a graduate. She worked at the St Edwards School After-care program and was a summer counselor for the New Iberia Recreation Department. Survivors include her parents, Terry and Wendy Barras and an older brother Tyson and just recently born her baby brother Triston. Kristen left us so abruptly with no explanation as to why? Just that very morning of her eighteenth birthday she woke up singing and cheerful and excited about her day. She is so loved and so dearly missed she is our angel watching over us.
