Edward Prince Danielson was born 21 February 1831 on the family farm in Danielson, a borough of Killingly, Windham County, Connecticut. After Jacob Danielson’s death in 1856, Edward lived on a farm with the family of his uncle Samuel Sanford Danielson. In 1860, Edward was listed as a laborer. Edward was married to Mary Etta Johnson (1836-1883) and in 1870 the couple was farming 135 acres in Killingly; the farm produced rye, corn, oats and buckwheat. The couple was living in a house that Edward, who sometimes worked as a carpenter, had built in 1868. Edward and Mary farmed in Killingly through the 1890‘s. In the 1900 census, Edward was listed as living in Killingly with his sister Lucy; he was working as a florist. Edward P. Danielson passed away on 8 July 1902.
