Francis' mother, Daisy, was from San Simeon. Daisy married in 1909 and moved with her new husband to Paso Robles where he was from.
Being the month of June and with Paso Robles being so hot, it's possible that Daisy came out to see her parents and siblings up San Simeon Creek and then something happened to Francis and he died here in the San Simeon Creek area. This is what may had occurred.
