Marion C. Barrett , 68, of 203 Hills St., died Monday at Veterans Administration Medical Center, Syracuse.
A native of Port Byron, Mr. Barrett had lived in Chittenango since 1955. He retired in 1980 after 27 years as a truck driver with Loblaws Co. Mr. Barrett later was employed with Smith's Market in Chittenango and worked for the past three years with the Green Thumb Program at Green Lakes State Park.
Surviving are his wife, the former Esther Finkle; four sons, Benson P., Martin H. and Timothy R., all of Chittenango, and Kenneth A. of Gig Harbor, Wash.; a daughter, Theresa Los of Durham, N.C.; a brother, Frederick of Baldwinsville; four sisters, Myra Randolph of Auburn, Laura Randolph and E. Eunice Rooker, both of Port Byron, and Margaret Buholtz of Fairport; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church of Chittenango, the Rev. Benjamin Meeks officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at G.F. Zimmer Funeral Home, 702 Legion Drive.
