Homer was a world-traveled, world-renowned artist who designed costumes and sets for the Shubert Theater Company in NYC during the early 1920's.

Buried here are Mary Helen Batterson Conant, husband George Calvin, and children/spouses: Elsie Conant/William Giller, Harley Conant/Ellen Metcalfe, Calvin Conant and Homer Conant. Daughters Ethel (Harwood) & Grace (Rogers) were cremated.
